Yeah Guys, we unlocked the 5th Stretch Goal!

The protective coating is a special varnish that will be applied to all OTTO materials, this will give an extra-durability and a nice, even more deluxe look; and plus... it's totally ecological! It's hydrobased :D 

The coating has been tested several times to measure its resistance against laser beams, plasma rifles, rail guns, dark energy bullets, phaser cannons and emp shockwaves. 

It held up well, although we must admit that the dark energy bullets did cause a few scratches.

6th STRETCH GOAL - UPDATED!

Many backers have asked to replace the 6th stretch goal. This was not possible for us, but we decided to make it more interesting. The back of the game board will be printed with a Kickstarter exclusive "label" and the author dedication. We know that's not an addition to the game itself, but it is something that only you will have when the game will be finally released on the market. And that will make your exclusive version of OTTO worth more. Plus, we decided to significantly lower the stretch goal threshold, we cut 10k, thus bringing it to 54k. This is also possible due to the lower costs of printing compared to screensilking process.

We thought about giving you a gift.

Many have asked us if there was a solitaire mode

...well there wasn't, we hadn't even thought about it to be honest!

Sure you can create relaxing mandalas and sinuous patterns ... but we're not talking about a real game. During these Christmas holidays, we committed to develop an ad-hoc, extremely challenging mode that tests your logic and probability calculation skills. We are sure you will love it. We are finishing writing the rules, soon we will share them so you can tell us what you think.

Dear Backers, new stretch goal added!  

Let's talk about the protective coating, many users have asked us to add an intermediate stretch goal, easier to reach, and just as many have asked us to insert a protection for the materials of the game, so here we are!

After having ascertained the feasibility of this stretch goal with our suppliers, we are happy to announce that at 48k we will add a transparent, ecological, but above all protective, hydro-based varnish to the tiles, the cards, the game board, the scorekeepers and to the scoreboard!
